Cottage to the west of and
adjoining Stone Edge and
boundary wall to south

Cottage, formerly a pair of cottages. Late C18. Coursed rubble gritstone with
quoins, plain gables, end ridge stacks and Welsh slated roof. Two storeys, three
bays with two 2-light flush mullioned windows to first floor, with four-paned C19
casement frames, and with casements and fixed light frames to former 2-light
mullioned openings to ground floor, in old stone surrounds. Coupled doorways to
centre, with massive jambs and lintels, that to the west now blocked, and with an
inserted window, that to the east with a four panelled door. Advanced lean-to
outbuilding to west end, with massive surround to doorway and a stone slated roof.
