SP 14 SE MICKLETON

5/70 Nineveh and Railings in front

II


House. Late C18/early C19. Flemish bond brick on limestone plinth. Rusticated
limestone quoins. Grey slate roof with rectangular brick end stacks. Dentilled
eaves. Red brick extension rear right with corrugated iron roof. Main body: 2½
storeys with fixed 8-pane casements to upper storey. 16-pane sashes below.
All windows in facade have rusticated limestone quoins with keystones.
Windows at rear and gable ends have segmental brick heads. Central 6-pane,
painted, C19 door at front with original knocker and letter box. Flat limestone
lintel over. Spear headed railing attached to house front on right, with central
gate.
