Mid-late C19. Tudor Gothic lodge. 1 ½ storeys, coursed and squared rubble. Modern
concrete tile roof, moulded eaves and footstones, coped verges. Large chimney with
diagonal shafts (modern). First floor has 2-light mullion windows with drips.
Gable to road has 3 light mullion and transom winder. Gable and drive has angled
bay, stone-roofed, with windows in bowtel surround. Door in angle with long
brackets to open gabled stone hood. Side door in lean-to to north. Gatepier in
gabled break to drive, rusticated blocks with weathered capping, matching pier
opposite and a third on corner to road.
