Pair detached cottages, probably one dwelling originally. C18. Rubble, pantile
roof. Single span roof to original, extensions in porches entrance side, lean-to with
pantiles, left, and on garden front; large end stone stack, right.
Garden front 2 storeys, two: 2-windowed, 2-light casements, without bars No. 1, with
bars No. 2; small sash with glazing bars to roof space, left gable. Entrance front
windows new 2-light casement, No. 1, and 1-light plus 2-light casements to No. 2. New
glazed door in porch, No. 1, and new battened door between windows, No. 2.
Formerly listed as 'Two cottages opposite the Laurels'.
These cottages, plus The Chantry (q.v.) and Thatched Cottage (q.v.) form a group in a
short off-street from the Wotton-Aldeley road.
