Dwellings. Mid C19. Squared and dressed stone, slate roofs (No. 46, concrete
tiles). Terrace of four houses, steep drop to site away from street, giving extra
floor at back. Two storeys, each with two windows. All windows segmental heads with
keystones; Nos 40, 42, 44 sashes with glazing bars; No. 46 recent replacement
aluminium and no bars. Wide band stonework (about 3 ft) above top windows. Nos 40
and 42 with good six panel fielded doors.
A good group, provides four floors at back to two at street. No 46 now included for
Group Value.
