House. Mid to late C16, altered C19. Timber frame, roughcast rendering.
Steeply pitched tiled roof, slightly raised. 3 cells, probably through
passage originally and possibly part open. 1 storey and attic. Entrance
to left of centre with recessed panelled door in cyma moulded architrave,
boarded pentice porch. To left a 2 light flush metal frame small pane
casement. To right 1 and 3 light flush frame small pane casements. To
right of centre a single light gabled dormer. Early inserted cross axial
ridge stack to left of centre. Left gable end C19 stock brick external
stack. Right gable end 2 light casement in attic, line of original roof
visible. To rear a door as at front, above a small 2 light flush moulded
frame leaded casement, elsewhere 2 and 3 light modern casements, 2
gabled dormers. Attached to left a low hipped kitchen outshut with an
entrance and a 2 light small pane metal casement. Small slate roofed
shed to far left. Interior: stop chamfered axial binding beams, exposed
frame of large scantling, jowled posts, curved braces.
