Two pairs of semi-detached cottages. Late C19. Coursed rubble
stone with quoins, stone slate roof with central large stone ridge
stack with offset and moulded cornice. Both pairs the same, single
range with rear extensions, single storey and attic. Two gables in
centre, each with long 2-light stone mullion with square hoodmould,
with metal casements and with 3-light directly below. Large
projecting gabled porches on ends with chamfered square opening and
large blind trefoil over. Two-light stone mullion with square
hoodmould on returns on both floors. No. 157 has C20 front door to
outer opening of porch, remainder have original boarded doors on
inside. Both pairs of cottages are virtually unaltered.
