SP 20 SW LECHLADE -

6/120 Little Lemhill Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Original range probably of late C17 or early C18,
altered and enlarged in C19. Coursed rubble stone to west and
rear, and remainder in roughcast. Stone slate roof with ashlar end
stack to left and 2 ridge stacks, and some rear brick stacks. Main
long front range in two sections with double range to rear on left
hand side and several rear extensions to centre and right. South
front has one stone bay to left with small gable forming full
dormer with 2-light stone mullion and transom, 3-light on ground
floor. Remainder of front steps forward and consists of original
range with three 16-pane sashes in shallow reveals and 3 on ground
floor. Similar full dormer to left of the centre (ine of these
windows has 12-pane window, and directly below a C20 fully glazed
door in chamfered stone surround. Main entrance on west end of
stone bay in plain chamfered stone surround with C20 timber door
and moulded round stone window to right with cross glazing. Two
12-pane sashes, one to each floor, in rear range to left of door.
