9/80 Former coach house, Guiting Stud
GV II
Former coach house; C18 and C19. Ashlar with limestone slate and
slate roof and ashlar stacks: F-shaped plan with 2 projecting
wings to C19 part on left. 2-storeys on right, single storey and
attic on left. Irregular fenestration to right hand block ,2 and
3-light wood casements with glazing bars to first floor. 2 and 3-
light cambered arched windows to ground floor, 2 doors: fielded 6-
panel door far left; 4-panel door right. Wide segmental headed
arch with keystone and imposts left with dormer over. Left-hand
block with projecting wings. Central double door with 2 dormers
flanking plank pitching door over. Wooden bell turret with
rounded domed roof and weather-vane far left. Stump of axial
stack from projecting right-hand gable. Twin flue right gable end
stack. Formerly coach house to Guiting Grange, (now demolished).
