Formerly several houses, now one with shop on ground floor. Late
C18. Rubble stone partly faced in render with some quoins,
Cotswold stone slate roof hipped to right. Squarish range in
prominent position on corner stepping forward from rest of building
line. 2 storeys. Three 4-pane sashes across 1st floor. Ground
floor has C19 shop front with decorative carved consoles supporting
moulded wooden cornice. On right passageway, inaccessible at
time of survey (October 1984), reputed to be medieval. Left hand
return has blind wall with 3 buttresses. One blocked window with
wood lintel to east. Included for group value.
