Gates, gate piers and walls with buttresses. Gates and posts in cast iron, walls and
buttresses squared and coursed limestone, but at street (south) end pair sandstone
piers c 600 mm square and 2 m high. Walling to left in eight bays divided by square
butresses with double offset, wall c 2.75 m high with double weathered roll cap
coping, late C20 structure added in last two bays (nearest church) forming other gable
to adjoining premises. To right 5 bays similar treatment, stopped at entrance to new
Rectory (not included). Pair cast-iron gates c 1.5 m high, spear-head railings, hung
to square Gothick cast-iron posts.
