Range of farm buildings comprising two barns and a stableblock,
adjoining Evergreen Farmhouse (q.v.). Barn adjoining stableblock
dated and initalled 'I.D. 1789' on a rectangular datestone set n
the porch gable. Adjoining barn and stable block probably early-
mid C19. Mainly coursed roughly squared and dressed limestone.
Artificial stone slate and corrugated asbestos roofing. 'L'-shaped
plan with the late C18 barn with a gabled porch on the south side.
Stableblock runs away left of porch at right angles to the barn.
Early-mid C19 barn at east gable end of C18 barn. C20 range built
of concrete blocks at east gable end of the latter, not of special
interest. Late C18 barn. Lean-to porch (without roof at time of
resurvey - June 1986) at the centre of the north wall. Projecting
gabled 2-storey porch with double plank doors opposite. Lean-to to
right of porch. Triangular ventilation holes. Early-mid C19 barn;
single bay loft at the west end beyond double width through
passsage to yard. Projecting lean-to porch to north wall off-
centre left, double width through passage towards the west end with
loft with access via steps up to a plank door is the south wall.
Stableblock. Double width through passage at the north end. Two
storeys. Access to loft via steps up to plank door in the east
wall.
Interior of C18 barn; 4 bays with the original collar and tie beam
roof trusses and double purlins. Interior of C19 barn; 4 bays
with the original collar and tie beam trusses with queen struts.
Interior of stableblock not inspected.
