Pair of semi-detached cottages. Early-mid C19. Coursed squared
and dressed limestone. Former stone slate roof collapsed at time
of resurvey (June 1986). Ashlar stacks. Rectangular plan with a
later lean-to extension at rear. Two storeys. Symmetrical, 5-
windowed facade. Two-light lancet-headed stone-mullioned casements
with carved spandrels and stopped hoods. Central C19 plank door
within a flat-chamfered 'Tudor'-arched surround. Wash-house
extension at rear. Axial stack with capping and skirting.
Interior; some C18 panelling reused at the bottom of the stairs
within left-hand cottage.
