4 chest tombs. From south to north: Mary Dean, died 1804;
Unidentified, late C18; Unidentified, late C18; James Phillips,
died 1761. Limestone. Flat top, moulded plinth and capping. From
south to north: 1. Lozenge shape on large base, with rounded
ends. Ends have fluted frieze and spiral astragal and torus, with
snake and urn with oval panel to west, and raised oval panel
wrapped round to east. Remaining 4 sides have tall oval panels with
carved foliage surround overlapping edges and tied in bundle at
top. 2. Lyre ends with oval panels. South side has collapsed
outwards, north side completely eroded. Sinking badly to south
west. 3. Heavy lyre ends with draped returns and oval inscription
panels. Sides have central inscription panels and flanking foliage
reliefs. Top breaking up at time of survey (Nov. 1984). 4.
Additional moulding to upper edge of top, indented corners, end
panels with plain frieze, cartouche to east and rectangular panel
with rounded projection at top to west. Sides have plain raised
rectangular panels.
