GV II

House on end of row. Late C17, extensively enlarged and refronted
early C19. Random and coursed rubble limestone; brick rebuilt
chimneys; concrete replacement tile roof. Two-storey with attic
and cellar. Front: earliest part to left with random rubble and
evidence of raised eaves. Casement with concrete lintel to ground
floor, 2-light chamfered mullioned casement above with hoodmould.
C19 rebuilding to right with 2-window fenestration, segmental
arched to ground floor with dressed stone linking band, stone
lintels to upper floor, all with leaded timber cross windows.
Doorway to centre with cambered timber porch on attenuated posts,
6-panel fielded door in segmental arched opening. North end:
gabled with some evidence of steeper roof pitch. Upper floor and
attic 2-light chamfered mullioned casements with hoodmoulds, both
leaded. Rear: 3-window 12-pane sash fenestration; 6-pane in
attic gable. Interior not inspected. Staircase with stick
balusters and scrolled open string visible to right of doorway.
