Baptist church and attached Sunday school. 1824; mid C19 school. Coursed and dressed limestone, ashlar to school; Welsh slate and plain tile roofs. Rectangular church with lobby at west end; school to north. Keeper's house in basement. Front: low-pitched parapet gable to church with similar to central lobby projection. Central round-arched doorway with impost blocks; double glazed doors with fanlight. Two round-arched windows to lobby staircase with linking sill band. Central recessed round-arched panel above with raised capital lettering 'BAPTIST CHURCH/FOUNDED 1640'. Single round-arched window to church on each level either side of lobby. All church windows have glazing bar casements and fixed lights. School to left has Romanesque revival style front with moulded open pediment and central flat-roofed-lobby projection. Lobby has cornice and moulded round-arched opening in each face. Two-light round-arched windows with moulded architraves and imposts, one each side of porch, both with sashes and moulded apron panel. Incription panel with very small lettering within main pediment: 'KING'S STANLEY BAPTIST SUNDAY SCHOOL'. South side: 3- window round-arched fenestration on 2 levels as to front. North side: paired sashes. Two gabled roof dormers to school with round-arched windows. Rear: 2 tall round-arched church windows, now blocked. Various sash windows to school and basement rooms. Interior: simple church interior with compartment ceiling. Small gallery has panelled front and is supported on 3 circular pillars. Gothic organ case.
