GV II

Detached house. Early-mid C18, enlarged early Cl9. Random and
coursed rubble limestone; ashlar chimneys; concrete tile roof.
Two-storey with attic; L-plan. Front: gable end of earlier part
to left, fenestration dating from early Cl9 addition of wing to
right. Three-light chamfered mullioned ground floor casement; 2-
light above. Two-window 2-light casement fenestration to wing;
round arched doorway to left with 6-panel door, fanlight blocked
in. Gable end chimneys with chamfered caps. North side: eaves-
mounted ashlar chimney. Attached C20 garage is not of special
interest. Interior not inspected. Forms part of group with France
Corner (q.v.) and Grey Cot (q.v.), and included for Group Value.
