Barn. Probably late C18. Coursed, squared blue lias, stone slate
roof on north side, tiled on south. Three-section barn, lean-to
central porch each side. Double boarded doors to porch, road side,
each door halved: 2 slit air vents in bays each side, single over.
Stone ridge, with cross-gablet ends at gables. Square pitching
holes over air vents on opposite side. Internally, 5 bays, centre
bay wide: cupboard recess in wall on right of porch towards road,
recess below and opposite for former timber top to division between
threshing floor and bays. Tie-beam trusses, collar and 2 vertical
struts; 2 pairs butt purlins, plank ridge. Forms group with shed
for yard cattle (q.v.).
