SO 83 SW CHACELEY

Detached farmhouse. C18. Flemish bond brick, concrete pantile
roof, brick stacks. Rectangular plan, 3-storeys, 5-windowed
facade, 12-pane sashes to ground and first floors, 6-pane sashes to
second floor. Flat-arched heads to all windows. Central door
with 2 fielded panels at bottom, 4 glazed panels above, the whole
within panelled recess. Segmental shaped tympanum over with
radiating flat-chamfered jointing, open triangular pediment
supported on console brackets above tympanum. Seven stone steps
up to front door with wreathed wrought iron handrail. Parallel
gabled roof with projecting gable-end stacks.
