Pair of houses. Late C18. Rendered and brick walling, tile roof. Symmetrical
gabled front (south-west) of 2 storeys and attic, 4 windows. ½ hipped roof.
Roughcast walls. Sashes, Victorian to the 1st floor. Plain doorways, with
hoods on carved brackets, and 6-flush-panelled (2-top-glazed) doors. Interior
of No. 16 has original plain panelling, enclosing the central staircase. Small
late C20 rear extensions (inconspicuous).
