Marked as Hatherley Manor on the 6 inch OS Map. Large house. C17, late C18 as indicated by datestone with crudely carved inscription 'J Randall 1769' to the left of the lower left-hand window of the main body; altered and extended mid C19. Large blocks of coursed squared and dressed limestone now largely covered with incised render; slate roof; rendered brick stacks. Service wing incorporating dairy and stable to rear, the whole thus forming a 'T'-shaped plan. Two storeys, attic and cellar. Symmetrical 3-windowed facade to the main body: 4 sash windows with horizontal glazing bars to the ground floor; three 12-pane sashes to the first floor. Central part-glazed door with glazing bars and two flush panels in a Tudor-arched doorway with carved spandrels within a wide open-sided wrought iron porch with a curved hipped metal roof. Three 2-light roof dormers. 12-pane sash rear right. East front of early range: C18 six-panel door with the two upper panels glazed under a hipped and curved projecting canopy; 12-pane sash to the right; 3-light double-chamfered stone mullioned casement to the first floor; 3-light hollow chamfered stone mullioned casement in the same position on the opposite side of the building. East front of service wing: 2-light casements with glazing bars to the ground floor; 4-pane sashes with horns and segmental-headed casements at the rear. Gable-end stacks to the main body. Interior not accessible.
