Late C18 or early C19. Two lodges on either side of an entrance to the park
arranged in splayed form; once of identical design. Front of 2 storeys, 2
windows; side of 2 windows. Low pitched slate roof with wide eaves on curved
brackets set against a fillet. Stucco walling, central recessed panel to 1st
floor, 1st floor bands, ground floor openings set within elliptical arches,
linked by an impost band, plinth. Sashes in reveals. The eastern unit retains
its central trellis porch, the western has a recessed extension (of 1 window)
on the north side, the old entrance being blocked and the porch moved within
the northern arch.
