Farmhouse, now house. C16 or earlier with 1 st half C17 and later
alterations, and major extensions and alterations mid-late C20. Timber-
frame now tile-hung or replaced C20; brick; plain tile roof; brick
stack. 1½ storeys, 3 bays, the left bay an addition. Extensive C20
rear additions not of special interest. C20 windows. Entrance at rear.
Courtyard elevation has windows of 1 and 2 lights to ground floor and
two weatherboarded, gabled, 4-light dormers. Roof half-hipped at left
end and with multiple - flue ridge stack between right-hand bays.
Interior: on 1st floor there is some evidence of the original timber
frame, including wall plates, roof timbers and wind-braces. The right-
hand room has C17 chamfered-arched fireplace with fine elaborate plaster
panel above having royal coat of arms surrounded by flowers and foliage.
