C18, early C19. Altered house of 2 storeys and attic, with a wing to the north
of 1 storey and attic. The west front is symmetrical, of 2-1-2 windows, the wing
is a 4 window (and 1 hipped roofed dormer). Steep slate roof, ½ hipped, with
roof links to massive end stacks, moulded eaves. Stucco walling, 1st floor band,
plinth. Sashes in exposed frames, the middle (lst floor) window being arched.
a porch has a semicircular cornice of thin mouldings, 2 thin cast-iron columns
(Tuscan Order), 2 pilasters enclosing an (older) wooden architrave and 6-panelled
door. The east (garden) elevation has a semicircular south side (of 3 windows)
a parapet with coping and heavy moulded cornice, 1st floor bands. Sashes in
reveals. A small Greek porch. Underground ice-cellar. Red brick kitchen
garden walls, ending in pillars.
