Probably timber framed. Early Cl7. Street facade rendered with old tiled roof.
2 gables. 1 1/2 storeys. 1 window in each gable. C18/early C19 casements, ground
floor windows have plain wooden dripboards above on brackets. Plain centre plank
door with similar dripboard above.
Nos 153 to 157 (odd), the street boundary wall at No 153, the former barn to south
of No 157 Nelson Cottages and No 158 form a group. (No 157 and Nelson Cottages
are buldings of local interest.)
