8/27 Vine Cottage

House. Early C19. Flint and brick,with a tile roof. Symmetrical front (south)
of 2 storeys, 3 windows (the centre now a panel of blue header bricks). Plain
roof, with catslide at rear. The walls have horizontal flint panels of coursed
squared knapped flints, with brick quoins, bands, and cambered arches to the
ground-floor. Casements. Plain doorway with tiled hood on posts, and C20 ½-
glazed door. A single-storeyed service wing extends westwards from the north-
west corner of the building, of brick and tile.
