House. Mainly C18. Stone and tile. Front (east) of 2 storeys and attic, 3
windows. Roof ½-hipped at the north, brick dentil eaves, 2 dormers (1 gabled the
other ½-hipped): shafted stack. Walls of ironstone with brick quoins, moulded
plinth, indicating a former wider middle opening. Sashes in exposed frames.
Gabled Victorian brick porch. The rear is similar, with a C20 outshot; the north
gable has 2 sashes above a glazed doorway. Inside; there is a central breast,
suggestive of a timber-framed lobby entrance house. C18 fittings include
panelled doors in architraves, ceiling cornices, some dado panelling, and 2 niche-
typed cupboards.
Note : attached to the south side is a taller house with a late C19 exterior,
(not listed).
