A house, now 2 dwellings. c1600, and mid C19. Brick andtile walls, with a tile
roof. A building of timber-framed origin, now almost entirely masked by tile-
hanging; front (south) of 2 storeys and attic, 3 windows, with a single storeyed
west-side wing. Roof ½-hipped at the east, 3 gabled dormers. The walls have
decorative bands: at the rear there is some brickwork and a fragment of the
framing. 'Tudor' cast-iron casements. 2 gabled porches, with bricknogged
timber-frames. The main feature of the building is a massive stepped chimney
stack at the rear (attached originally to the frame), of brickwork in English
bond, with the lower part of malmstone.
