House, now 2 dwelling. Early C18, with exterior remodelled in the mid C19,
with small C20 extensions. Stucco and slate. Front (south) of 2 storeys and
attic, 6 windows. Steep roof, ½-hipped at the west and hipped at the east end,
with 'toothed' eaves fascia, 3 gabled dormers with scalloped bargeboards;
shafted stack. Plain walls, plinth. Sashes in reveals. Porch of 2 columns,
2 pilasters, with Greek mouldings and slender Doric columns, wide doorway with
½-glazed double doors. At the rear, there is a 2nd floor, partly jettied, but
the lower walls are of painted brickwork in Flemish bond, with some cambered
openings and a round-headed (staircase) sash window, and a half-glazed door
beneath a canopy.
