Two semi-detached cottages, now one. Late C18 of 2 builds, altered C19 and
restored C20. Brick, old plain tile roof. Large cottage 16 storey,
irregular, 2 bay and added bay, small cottage single storey and attic, 2
bay with lean-to on end. To front, large cottage is on LH and much
altered. In centre is plank door with side light. In LH added bay and RH
bay 3-light segmental-head casement. Over centre bay eaves raised and
given lower pitched roof to accommodate 2 small 2-light casements. Stacks
at either end of original part. To RH, lower cottage has off-centre plank
door. Either side 2-light casements and 2-light gabled dormer. Stacks at
either end, that to LH shared with other cottage. Lean-to on RH end.
