SU 20 NE MINSTEAD EMERY DOWN

6/5 Horseshoe Cottage

GV II

Cottage. C17 altered C18 and C20. Timber-frame with painted brick infill
encasing and additions, thatched roof. End onto road, 1½ storey, 2 bay, outshot
on rear side, C20 single storey addition to far bay on front side. Road end
has tall brick plinth. Exposed frame above, except to outshot. Single casement
and 3-light casement in ½-hipped gable. Front has hipped C20 addition with
long casements. On ridge of original part central stack.
