Walled garden with gates. Circa 1890 by WH Romaine-Walker, possibly early 1900.
Brick,some stone dressings, wrought iron gates. 150m by 200m wall, with one
longer side facing stableblock (Rhinefield Hunting Lodge) (qv), the other nearest
side to house. Wall about 3m high. Side to stableblock ramps down in front of
courtyard to 1½m high. In it are 2 single wrought-iron garden and tiled shed
built onto wall. Wall continues in front of entrance to stableblock with another
single wrought-iron gate with wall ramping down to it either side. This gate is
matched by another on opposite wall. Front wall has in centre stone square-plan
piers surmounted by ball finials. Between, pair of wrought-iron gates with
overthrow. On opposite wall single wrought-iron gates. On side nearer house is
further enclosed garden with low wall and hedges around it.
