SU 52 NE BEAUWORTH WESTFIELD DROVE

5/36 Church Cottage

GV II

Cottage, C17. Timber-frame with plaster and brick infill, roof thatched. 2 storey,
3 bay and doorway in centre with baffle entry, C19 top-glazed door with C19 tiled
gabled rendered porch. Each side a C20 3-light canted oriel window. Above them
C19 2-light casements with small 2-light casement over porch. Main members of
timber-frame exposed. Roof half-hipped on right with complete frame exposed, but
left gable is pantiled. Decorated ridge pieces with large longitudinally set
ridge stack.
