Farmhouse and attached wellhouse. C17 origins, C18 building, altered C19.
Timber-frame core, encased in brick, mostly rendered old plain tile roof.
2 storey, 4 wide bay house with 1½ storey well house at right end. Doorway
to left of centre with C18 2-panel door in solid frame with C20 rustic log
gabled porch. Each side C18 12-pane segmental head sash and at right end
early C20 door and casement beside. On 1st floor 4 C19 3-light casements,
that to right has cast iron lozenge-pane casements. Gabled dormers above
centre bays with 2-light cast iron lozenge pane casements. Stacks on ridge
to right of centre and at left end. To right, projecting forward, well-
house with C18 brickwork outside and timber-framing inside. Roof half-
hipped. Inside C17 3 m diameter donkey wheel, 1 m wide with 4 m long shaft
in complete frame but well capped.
