SU 42 SE COLDEN COMMON HENSTING LANE

8/42 Kennel Farm House

GV II

Farmhouse. C17 with C18 wing. Timber-frame with brick infill and
addition, part rendered part slatehung, part weatherboarded, old plain
tile roof. 3 bay and smoke/passage bay timber-frame with 2 bay wing added
to front of right bay, 2 storey. C20 gabled brick porch to left of centre
in narrow bay, and C19 planked door in open pent-roofed porch on inner face
of added wing rear corner, this face of wing being tile hung. In each
bay and wing end on both floors C20 3-light casement. Roof half-hipped
and large ridge stack to left of centre above door.
