SU 53 SW ITCHEN VALLEY

7/20 Yavington Farm Cottage

Farmhouse. Early and late C18 with reused stone. Front wall brick with blue
header chequerwork, and side walls of reused dressed stone and flint, old plain
tile roof. Square plan with hipped U-shaped roof. Front 2 storey, 3 bay with
slightly protecting centre bay of chequer brickwork. Central gabled porch with
buttresses each side of C19 top glazed door, and dentilled cornice. Each side
C20 3-light casement in segmental head. lst floor blue header band. On lst
floor 2. and 3-light casements. Dentilled eaves to side bays. Roof hipped with
symmetrical stacks on return ridges.
