Milestone. C18. Painted weathered stone with cambered head and sides inscribed: 15 to Stockbridge, 52 to London and 6 to Basingstoke. It is on the Stockbridge and Basingstoke and the Basingstoke, Odiham and Alton turnpikes of 1755 and 1736 respectively.
A good example of an C18 milestone.
