Milestone. C18. Small weathered stone milestone with cambered head and with sides inscribed: 13 to Stockbridge, 54 to London and 8 to Basingstoke. It is on the Stockbridge and Basingstoke and the Basingstoke, Odiham and Alton turnpikes of 1755 and 1736 respectively.
A good example of an C18 milestone.
