Farmhouse. C17, extended late C18 with late C20 alterations. Brick
fronting timber-frame with painted brick and rendered infill, tile roof.
T-plan, stem extending to rear (north) is C17, front cross-wing late C18
with central stack. South front: two storeys on cellar, dentilled brick
cornice; three windows: 2-light C20 casements, under rubbed brick heads,
semi-circular head to central window, all have stone sills; ground floor:
central entrance with semi-circular head, fanlight, 4-panelled door and
flat canopy. Framing: three square panels high to rear wing. Fire
insurance mark on south-east corner: "Birmingham/ District".
