Two cottages, public house at time of listing. 1727 and early C19 with C19 and C20 additions. Red brick with brick and stone dressings. Red clay tile roofs with brick coped gables to either end and to centre, plus central brick ridge stack and external gable brick stack to south. Dentilled eaves band to early C19 part to north and first floor band to early C18 part to south. Canted plan, four bays and single storey plus attics to south and two storeys to north.
East elevation has two two-light horizontal sliding glazing bar sashes to north, that to south below segment head, and an inserted C20 door below a plain overlight to south. Canted brick bay window beyond to south and a glazing bar sash and stone doorcase to north. The bay window has plain sashes below stone lintels and the northern doorcase has a chamfered jambs and 'WM 1727' inscribed on the lintel. Above there are two horizontal sliding glazing bar sashes in gabled dormers and to north there are two similar flat headed windows below the eaves.
Interior has chamfered ceiling beams.
