Barn. Circa early C19. Limestone rubble walls with dressed stone to doorways;
gable ended tarred slate roof. Probably row of shippons on ground floor with
independant access and storage above.
2 storeys. Imposing facade which originally had 9 adjoining arched doorways with
chamfered dressed stone jambs, some are now blocked. On first floor at centre is
wide loading doorway with slit opening to either side. This building was built to
be decorative as well as functional and presumably reflects an increasing prosperity
in the farm complex.
