House. Early C19. Of grey gault bricks with stone cornice and string band.
Slate roofs behind parapets. Of 3 storeys and of squarish double pile plan
form. The south front has a major block with 5 attic double hung sash windows
with small panes and some with shutters. The ground and first floors each have
5 conventionally proportioned, double hung sash windows with small panes. A
narrow recessed bay at the west end has similar windows on first and second
storeys and a projecting flat topped Doric portico in stucco. This has cornice,
entablature and a pair of columns 'in antis' between outer square piers. To the
west again is a range of service rooms with gabled slated roof and gault
brickwork.
