Formerly 2 cottages, now club premises. C18 or possibly earlier. Cob walls,
plastered and partly cement rendered, on a stone plinth. Thatched roof with one
gable and the room to the right and a truncated stack at the lower end of the
centre room. It is of 2 storeys throughout. The fenestration is regular to front
and back, 3-window front, C19 2-light casements; left-hand plank door at lower end,
and another doorway to right of centre. C20 left-hand doorway at higher end with
plank door, and a C20 door to right of centre. Interior not inspected, but some
original beams visible in ground-floor rooms. The back of the building site
impressively high above the lane and the front contributes to an attractive group
with Lychgate Cottage facing the parish church across a small cobbled open space.
