House, at one time possibly one property with No.3, perhaps a palour, adjoining at
the right. Probably C17 or earlier. Colourwashed rendered cob and stone; thatched
roof, gabled at ends; internal front lateral stack with brick shaft, left end stack.
Plan: Unclear at time of survey as access to interior unobtainable (1987).
Exterior: 2 storeys. Almost symmetrical 2 window front with a C20 half-glazed porch
with a slated lean-to roof and C20 front door. 2 and 3 light C20 timber casements
with glazing bars.
Interior: Not inspected but known by Teignbridge Planning Department to have the
remains of a decorated plaster ceiling with a wheel pattern visible in the roofspace
and other features of interest may survive.
