Chest tomb and railings. Early C19. Stone chest and lid; iron railings. High
quality chest with half-balusters at the corners and a finely-carved lid with a
strapwork border, armorial bearings with mantling carved in relief and a carved
inscription in Gothic lettering recording the Newman family vault with a date of
1843. Railings with cylindrical verticals with pointed finials and columnar corner
balusters.
