Cottage, associated with the stable block at Trehill (q.v.). Possibly 1833,
contemporary with the stable block or perhaps later ; late C20 alterations. Red
sandstone with a thatched roof, gabled at ends ; axial stack with rendered shaft to
main block, projecting end stack to wing. Modest Tudor details.
Plan: Small L plan cottage, the main block, facing west, single depth 2 rooms wide,
with a wing at right angles to the right end.
Exterior: Single-storey and attic. The west elevation of the main block has 2
doorways and 2 ground floor windows to the inner return of the wing. The main block
has 1 3-light window in each gable end with a small diamond-shaped attic window
above. 4-light window on rear wall of the wing with a segmental arch.
Interior: Not inspected.
Group value with the stable block.
