Farmhouse. Formerly known as Backside Farmhouse. Circa C17 house. Roughcast stone
rubble. Thatched roof with gabled ends. Two storeys. Four window range. Three
and four light casements with glazing bars, one with leaded panes. Left hand first
floor in thatched dormer. Right hand moulded timber door frame with modern plank
door. Byre adjoining right (north west) now part of house accommodation, roughcast
with tiled roof. Projection at rear containing stairs. Rebuilt brick ridge chimney
stack off centre. Interior: stopped chamfer ceiling beams and open fireplace with
chamfered bressumer.
Including stables adjoining south east: long single storey, stone rubble range with
corrugated iron hipped roof, with back to road.
