The Stables Nos 1 to 7

Former stable range to Shute House qv converted into houses. Late C18 stable
range. Rendered brick. Slate hipped roof. Centre two storeys, three bay house
linked to three bay coach houses by lower stables on quadrant plan around
semi-circular courtyard. The house has sash windows with glazing bars and
round-arched central doorway. The flanking coach houses have round-arched
carriageways with small windows above. The linking stables also have round-arched
stable doors.
