House. Mid-C17 with earlier remains. Brick with remains of concealed
timber-frame and tile roof. E-plan. Two storeys with attic. Bays divided
by pilasters with block capitals: Ground floor windows within sunken panels
with cambered heads. First floor windows of cross-wings within panels with
shouldered heads and keystones: Cross-wings of two bays each and centre of
three bays: The outer bay of each cross-wing is blind. Middle ground floor
and right-hand first floor windows of centre blind. Ground floor of right-
hand cross-wing covered by lean-to addition. Chimneys to right and left of
central bays. Stair turret at rear adjoining southern cross-wing. Interior:
contains some exposed wall-framing, a brick inglenook with chamfered bressummer
and a C17 open-well stair with closed string and turned balusters.
