Mile post. Mid- to late C19. Cast iron. V-section with wider upper
part for inscriptions and chamfered top inscribed "Llanrothal Parish".
Raised lettering and borders, left side reads "T6 Pontrilas 11 Miles";
right side reads, "To Monmouth 3 Miles". (The latter distance is in
country miles, the real distance is nearer four miles).
